Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd later went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first minute. In the following weeks Ladd went on to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on the amateur record of Ladd. Ladd rebounded from her loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to get her first professional fight. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen was dominant McGill by wrestling her to the ground to finish her off with the third round via TKO. Aspen later faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy using the catchweight (138.1lb) as Ladd didn't make Weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she finished her with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a ground and pound victory in her second fight. Her dominance continued and she was able to win a thrilling fight in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd was able to beat Evinger with a punch during the first round. She also got a Performance of The Night prize. Her first major fight came when she fought her second opponent at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision and her Fight of the Night award was awarded to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough in order to stop her winning streak. After a break of a few seconds before returning to take on Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
